About the Instructor:

James Komen

James Komen is a consulting arborist in California specializing in risk assessment and tree appraisal. His work has been published in various peer-reviewed journals. He is an ISA TRAQ instructor and an ASCA TPAQ instructor. He has taught workshops on tree law, tree risk, and tree appraisal around the U.S. and Canada. He is also a licensed California attorney.
